Notes on Color: Terracotta

ON

COLOR

Terracotta is our February color of the month! It’s bold, packed with personality, and instantly brings warmth and depth to a space. We’re inspired by historic buildings of the Presidio in San Francisco, whose iconic terracotta tile roofs are beautiful against the often cool foggy backdrop of the Bay.

Terracotta in Interiors

Terracotta brings a nuanced character to interiors. It’s neutral and approachable enough to suit a sofa, and would be striking as Venetian plaster walls and of course handcrafted tile! Echoing the tone of rich wood, it feels grounding and textural without being overwhelming.

We envision pairing this color with creams, mint or sage green, and camels with warm neutrals!
